Christian Hawaiian Shirts

Christian Hawaiian shirts say "Aloha" and "Amen" simultaneously. They're a beautiful combination of paradise and religion and perfect for warm days and nights when the attire is meant to be casual. In some cases and some regions, you may even be able to get away with wearing your Hawaiian shirt to a place that calls for dressy attire. You can make a statement about your beliefs by wearing a religious Hawaiian shirt.

Christian Hawaiian shirts combine the frivolity and summertime casual feel of Hawaiian shirts with the Christian religion. Some feature scenes from the Bible and others have crosses. There are several ways to symbolize the Christian religion in the fabric of a shirt, and while sometimes the message is clear (multiple crosses, for example), there are some cases where the shirts don't appear overtly Christian to a casual observer.

These shirts tend to be short-sleeved button-ups with collars. They may have a pocket on the left side just like many button-ups, but if there is a pocket, the pattern is still not disrupted. The only difference between the traditional Hawaiian shirts and the Christian ones boils down to the fabric. Since there isn't a terribly wide variety of Hawaiian-style Christian shirts out there, there are a few other options you can consider until you find what you're looking for, or just to mix up your wardrobe a bit:

• Christian Button-Downs: At sites like C28.com, you can find button-down shirts with Christian symbols. They tend to focus more on neutrals than traditional Hawaiian shirts, but if Hawaiian shirts feel a little loud for your tastes overall, this may be a great option.
