Zoo York clothing is artsy, exciting, and begging to make you stand out in the crowd with its inspiration taken from graffiti culture. Though the brand caters to the skateboarding crowd, you don't have to be a skater to enjoy the clothes.

The line is named for the Zoo York Tunnel, a place where Manhattan's graffiti artists would gather after dark in the 1970s to mark their territory with their paints and talent.

The company was the first skateboarding-inspired brand to encompass a lifestyle on the East Coast, blending hip-hop, skateboarding, and graffiti to reach out to the urban youth. There is also a twist of military inspiration that has been around since the earliest days of the company, before it blossomed from mainly t-shirts into a whole line. Zoo York is streetwear meant to represent a pocket of society that often goes unnoticed while blending together several cultures and vibes at once.

Urban. Youthful. Artsy. Skater. Utilitarian. Casual. Sometimes even slightly retro. These are the styles of the Zoo York brand. If that sounds like what's in your closet (or at least what you wish was in your closet), take a look at the selection.
